Showit Sites- Site of the Year Contest

Wow… That’s about all I can muster after discovering that my website has been selected as a finalist in the Site of the Year Contest. Showit Sites is amazing, I’ve said it before and I will say it again and again and again… I just can’t say enough great things about their products and service! Thank you a million times over!!

It feels so amazing to have my site listed as one of the finalists.  It’s so cool to look at the other sites and see their creativity and personality throughout their website.  Showit Sites gives us the tools and freedom to create what we envision without being restricted by templates.  I LOVE that!!

Senior Reps 2010

I think I CAN, I think I CAN!! {Giving Back!!}

So, the ever amazing Jasmine Star had a great post on her blog today- ways to get involved and give back to those less fortunate.  After checking out some of the links she included on her post, I was inspired to follow in the footsteps of Chris & Lynn, two amazing photographers out of Vancouver, BC.  So, are you ready for this?

I love to receive comments, so this is so perfect!  From the moment this post goes live until December 16th, 11:59pm, for every comment posted on my blog (to any post), the True Family will donate a canned good to Food for Lane County!  Could it be any easier?  Just post a comment and share the love!

Whole new {blog} Me!

So, my blog has generally always served as a business platform and not so much as a personal journal.  Aside from the occasional posting of my family and friends, it’s 95% of the time a client’s sneak-peek at their session.  That is until today.

The writer in me is dying to come out!  I never find enough time in my day to write in my journal, but I always make time to blog, as it is part of my business.  Blogging is a favorite pass-time of mine and I self-proclaimed blog stalker.    To get to the point- I have decided to start mixing a lot more of my personal self with my business self on my blog.  Some might call me crazy, some might call daring, but I just hope that all will call me real.

So, hello cyber world…  Get ready to meet a whole new me.

So, my BFF Andrea is expecting her second little boy this August.  She is an awesome mommy, an awesome friend and overall just an awesome person!  She and I met years ago when we both worked at this little picture studio- neither one of us thought we would like each other and after one shift together- we just clicked!  Wherever there’s laughter- you’ll find me and Andrea.

I am currently looking for area High School Juniors to be my 2008/2009 Senior Reps!  You must live in the Eugene/Springfield area (Harrisburg, Junction City & Veneta students are qualified, too!)  Here is what you will get:
